Our Story
New Brian Mining Company Limited is one of the fastest growing gold mining company in Papua New Guinea. Established in 2010, the company has embarked on the mining of gold with higher level of innovativeness and craftsmanship till date whiles complying with the highest international standards of corporate governance.
Our mission is to be the world’s most valued gold mining business by finding, developing, and owning the best assets, with the best people and to deliver sustainable returns.
Values
Organizational values need to be shared if a business is to grow. Our organization is currently in a phase of exponential growth and it is very important for all members of the organization to share common goals, visions, and values. I look for two main qualities in the teams at NBMCL.
The first is contribution. Everyone in the organization is expected to contribute to the overall growth of NBMCL, based on their roles and positions. Each and every team member has an important role to play and needs to provide support and dedication to succeed as a whole.

Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer
About C.E.O
Mr. Brian Maurice Moore, is the Owner and the Chief Executive Officer ( CEO ) of New Brian Mining Company Limited since the company’s inception dated on the 2nd of July 2010.
Mr Brian was appointed Managing Director on 10 July 2006. He joined Newcrest in January 2006, and got promoted as Executive Director in 2008.
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND EXPERTISE
Mr Brian was previously Executive Board Member of Pacific Aluminium, a wholly owned subsidiary within the Rio Tinto group, which incorporated the bauxite, alumina, refining and smelting operations in Australia and New Zealand.
He began his career with NewCrest mining Ltd, working in both Australia and USA. Mr Brian has also worked for Western Mining in Australia and Rio Tinto in Canada and Australia. He has experience in research, operations, business development and projects, across commodities including aluminium, copper, lead, zinc and nickel.
